One type of delusion is Grandiose delusion where the person believes that he has more power, wealth or any grand traits. The symptoms include a false belief that the person is a multimillionaire, related to a celebrity, mood swings, and hallucinations. The exact cause is not known, however some underlying mental illnesses like schizophrenia, and bipolar disorder can be the cause of grandiose delusion. The main treatment includes medication, mental health therapy, and involuntary therapy. Often antidepressants, and mood stabilisers are prescribed. Mental health therapy involves talk therapy or counselling.
