I’d used Slice for many years and it improved nicely, but slowly it degraded over time until it was mostly useless. The hunt for a new tracking app began and I tried a few and narrowed it down to this app Route and one other called Shop which is better suited to a phone than a tablet. This app beat them all out and is almost perfect. I can see the location of my packages on a map, copy the tracking number, mark a package as delivered, and submit feedback easily in app for each shipment individually. Pretty good I thought, but not perfect… yet. The dev seems to be making improvements which is better than an app that turns into abandonware. For this reason I’ll submit my own thoughts on what I feel is missing that could make me love this app more than I once did Slice. What is missing is the ability to add your own tracking information when there are mishaps in shipping and new numbers issued. If and when an image for the item being shipped is not correct it would also be nice to be able to browse for and add the right or a better image. I would love to be able to add notes to shipments as well for future reference and flagging certain shipments as important or even being able to pin them to the top would be great. Got the prompt to use route during the Christmas season. It was great! It picked up the orders, AND collected the tracking numbers without me having to do anything, it was incredibly hands off and convienent, I could keep track of all my packages at once. Now all it picks up is that I placed an order online, once I get an actual tracking number for the order I have to manually input it in the app for it to track. It's not a deal breaker, I'm still gonna use it but just kinda disappointed

The latest version of FEB 2021 is way faster than the older ones. The auto backup feature is great! Everything Seems to work well. But the outside screen with the trackings now has 1 line of text less. It used to have 3 lines. And spacing between trackings seems larger. The lack of the extra 1 line of text is crucial because it’s where the most important details usually are. With the newer interface we now have to go inside the tracking to see the details which some times it’s a waste of time. Additionally a line to separate trackings (like in the past versions) would make it more clear. I guess it’s 1 step forward, 1 step backwards. This App had everything to make it the best for the past 5 years but unfortunately everytime had at least 1 issue. Although it seemed to have sold all those issues in the past, issues solved in the past surface again and again from time to time.

I hate this app. Tracking is not updated in a timely manner. It is 2-3 days behind what shows with the carrier tracking site. Amazon doesn't work at ALL! You connect Amazon, and a browser window opens to your Amazon orders that keeps flashing/resetting. And even when it did work, It didn't update the tracking at all. To the point where the package never updated to say what the order was, never said when/if it would be delivered, or both.

This app is so easy to use, accurate (e.g., when next train is coming), has real-time updates (e.g., line closures due to strikes - and there are so many! - or construction), etc. Two of my *favorite* features? Because this app is made by the RATP itself (i.e., real locals on the ground), it knows how critical it is to tell you not only which metro stop to use, but also precisely which of the many numbered exits at such metro stop to use, and which metro cars (e.g., front, middle, end of the train) you should choose in order to be closest to said exit upon arrival. For example, at a HUGE and complicated station like Chatelet, where multiple lines meet, and different exits can themselves be several minutes’ walk apart, this is verrry useful to know. Also, you can buy tickets and top up metro passes (I believe you need to first *have* a rechargeable metro pass to do either task) on the app itself - so convenient! I’ve spent tons of time in Paris as both a temporary resident and a tourist since the ‘90s (the days of using my Paris Par Arrondissement and my paper(!) Carte Orange to get around) - this app is a revolution!
