This past weekend my daughter was married at Chalet View Lodge. It was the perfect venue at an all in one site accommodating an outdoor, evening wedding ceremony and reception along with a beautiful bridal suite and plenty of rooms/cabins and even an airstream for all our guests. The day before the wedding, a pool party and outdoor welcome dinner just added to the fun. Our guests enjoyed the volleyball court, campfire site and various lovely spots to sit and relax including the reception lounge in the main building. The Chalet View Lodge offered us a three day respite of joy. Plenty of time for both families to get to know each other, for golf games at nearby courses and just to enjoy the natural beauty of the area. Quaint little cities nearby offered wonderful breakfast/lunch options. Lots to do and enjoy, the individual rooms providing every need met and a front office staff so welcoming and helpful. The Bridal Team professional, skilled and and responsible made getting married almost too easy. Thank you Chalet View Lodge for three wonderful days, a perfect wedding and happy memories to last a lifetime.

Liked: I love this hotel for the close proximity to both Disneyland and Val d’Europe especially for the use of Auchan supermarket. It is quiet and feels very much like an apartment complex. There is also a free shuttle to Disney. The area is very safe for solo female travellers. I have to thank Maude, Laura, Sophie and Sarah for their exceptional help with a problem I encountered regarding my payment. Maude went above and beyond for me and Laura as manager did what a good manager should and worked to find a solution together with Maude. I am very grateful for this and extend my thanks to the very pleasant Sarah and to Sophie for the laughs about ‘Claudine’! Maude did seem very angry with me though, so a few smiles here and there would have not gone amiss. Disliked · I wasn’t aware that the full price had to be paid on arrival and I feel it is a little unreasonable when you aren’t permitted to pay half way or even at the end of your stay. They will not even accept a deposit on arrival. It’s not as if you’re going to run off without paying when they have your passport details. I feel this rule could be relaxed more and not be so suspicious of people. I sent at least 4 or 5 messages using the ’contact property’ option when booking and NONE were acknowledged or responded to. I also emailed and was advised it was not received. This is very poor service as I did my best to sort out a payment issue before I arrived and as early as 6 weeks beforehand. The check in process takes forever and more staff are required to speed up this process especially when some customers have a million questions. Also there needs to be a better system if you are buying from their shop. Having to queue behind 6 other people who are checking in while all you want is to pay for a bottle of water is very unreasonable.…

Our long haul flight landed early so we got to the hotel before our check in time and they offered to hold our bags for us so we could go walk around or hang out in the reception area. We opted to stay there and they were able to get our room ready for us early so we could go rest. The staff was always friendly and helpful and had great recommendations for things to do in the area and where to eat. We chose the hotel based on how close it was to a lot of things we wanted to see and weren't disappointed. It's right off the Avenue Champs Elysées with the Arc de Triomphe about a 10 minute walk away. The room was cleaned daily and if we bumped into housekeeping on our way up to our room or on our way out they always offered us bottled water. I do wish the breakfast had a little more variety but it was good nonetheless and the chef was there offering fresh coffee or tea. The elevator was small but we usually opted for the stairs. I saw some reviews prior to booking our stay about the noise but the only noise I really heard was if someone slammed a door too hard since it is a small hotel. My family had a lovely stay here for our first time in Paris and would definitely recommend this hotel for anyone looking to stay in the area!
