But sometimes, some of the other computers drop off. I seem to notice this after mine wakes from sleep mode (and perhaps some of the other computers have been off and on. It doesn't refresh the network list.

Apr 25, 2009 · My understanding of device manager is it's slightly different in Windows 7 as to Vista. You could run device manager directly by typing 'device manager' in the start menu search bar. If then select 'view' then 'Show hidden devices' this will show hidden devices. You may also need to change the vew to 'Deviced by connection' and see what happens.
