Poor. I use the app to send payments to business partners from another linked bank account. I had one successful transaction, afterward no success. I've called support & was told to call my bank. As if they didn't want to find a solution to the problem. I also gave my correct phone number & go into the app again& no number is listed. The security checks don't work. My linked bank account shows up, but when needed to transfer $, it makes me enter card # details. Nothing works correctly.

To view your card info you have to open up chrome and go to autofill. If you want to adjust payment settings you need to go the Google app instead. But if you want to tap-to-pay you use google wallet, but if you want to view your transactions you have to use this pointless app. Google took the concept of uncomplicated, convenient, and all in one place, and said "let's do the polar opposite!" Half of google searches are just people troubleshooting stupid issues that Google itself created

I used to use Google Pay all the time and now with the new setup, it to difficult to turn off the NFC. Once you turn it on from the Wallet you have to go like 3 steps deep into the settings menu to turn it off. Gone are the days that you can easily turn it on and off from the pull down menu at the top of in the app. Until this is changed I will go back to using credit cards physically.

I only got this app because a regular customer of mine only had or knew how to use Google Pay. I use many different cash apps. Almost all of them allow me to move money into my main bank without fees. Yes, most charge to instantly add to a debit card. If I can connect a bank account to Google Pay, it’s not anywhere as easy to do as the other cash apps. But my BIGGEST frustration with this app is I use this for mostly driving a customer around. I sure wish I could buy gas with it. I read all over the Internet on how to do it. The instructions are simple and clear. Just tap the “Pay” tab and scroll down to “Get Gas”. Problem is, there is hardly anything to scroll through… There are two things to pick from, food and parking. NOTHING about getting gas. This app is extremely difficult to figure, far more than it needs to be. Again, I’m only using it because I have a customer who only uses it. Apple Pay is worlds better than this app. Please! Let me buy gas with it!!!!
