May 31, 2022 · I am perplexed that people would find the original Friday The 13th a “Boring” movie! I thought that the pacing of the story was good, the action worked in all the right places, and the scares were well placed. I can say that the original Friday The 13th is more suspenseful than the others, but that doesn’t make it boring.

The kills mostly suck, the mystery whodunnit component is a cheat, the characters suck, the pacing is bad and outright boring at points, the movie isn’t actually a particularly original or innovative one despite its impact, it’s not stylistically brilliant..
