Dec 19, 2023 · Separate backgrounds for two monitors. I installed Win 11 and can't get the monitors to show different backgrounds. When I right click on the recent images in Personalize your Background I get "Set for desktop1 or 2". I do not get a choice for "Set for monitor 1 or 2".

Jan 9, 2022 · Okay I had the same problem so can you report the bug for me since my PC doesn't let me but basically with windows 11 you can change the wallpaper for each desktop but for some reason you can't change the the monitor wallpaper unless you get rid of all the desktops then you have the option to change per monitor. Meanwhile, to have same picture as the background on two monitors, you’ll have to choose Picture under Background, and use the Span or Tile effect, under Choose a Fit option. Regards,
