I know there isn't a lot of food in the river there, and above access of the falls for any anadromous species, but I do know there are a few fish there. Aug 26, 2004 · I think (correct me if I'm wrong) the Nisqually Tribe is the only organization with a hatchery program for the river right now, and I don't know if they place fish in the "upper" river. Lots of good fly water upstream, though. More recently, the chum fishing had been good come Novemember, but I haven't heard too much from fly guys about the kings.
