Google Maps as an application is great for travel and directions over all. It is accurately interconnected to transit systems in cities I travel to. Easy interface for looking at reviews and information of destination’s. Now the only thing I have to complain about is when you type in your destination for directions is the map auto-fixes to compass 🧭 north, instead of the direction you are facing. For example if I am headed west and fading south the map appears “upside down”. I understand if you use the “live navigation” feature the map corrects itself and relays the information based on current facing direction. As one who loves to walk and wants to save battery life on my mobile device, it would be great if the default for “get directions” without navigation feature would load to the direction you are facing so you don’t have to toggle the map when looking at directions.

One of my top used apps since moving to find new places and restaurants, and essential for driving or traveling to new places, but recently the ability to control music has been greatly reduced. You used to be able to tap the music or audio player below the map view and be able to go back, pause/play, or skip to the next song. Recently, this menu feature was completely removed and when tapping music in maps, it minimizes the map to PIP mode and shows the music app. This is a feature removal...

Cannot move series events to alternate time or day. When selecting "this and following event" the event altogether just disappears. The rest of the series stays on the original timeslot. I was just trying to move the series from Monday to Tuesday at the same time, and it wouldn't adjust. Had to delete all in series and create a new series on the new day. Please. Stop. Replacing. My. Feature. Photos. It's really frustrating when Google keeps changing the feature photo I've set for some people, especially when they change it to a completely different person, and then I have to clear out a bunch of wrong photos to find the one I had previously selected. The feature photo shouldn't change unless I specifically update it. I've already submitted this as "feedback." I don't want to submit more screenshots. I just want it fixed, please.

With most home security systems you typically want to be able to see what's going on outside. However, with the subscription that Google Home charges, you get to pay to have the ability to look at loading screens that eventually just tell you "Live View is Unavailable". Plus they had the nerve to up the price but absolutely none of the service. Edit: I can now see live video to my cameras MAYBE 15% of the time. What a waste! Literally useless.
