Search for a place on Google Maps

1. On your Android phone or tablet, open the Google Maps app .
2. At the top, tap the search box and enter an address, name of a place, or choose a category, like gas stations or groceries. To use voice search, tap Speak .

To find places near an area you’ve searched:

1. On your computer, open Google Maps.
2. Search for a place or address.
3. Click Nearby .
