Carbuncle

Common

Red, swollen, painful and pus-filled boils connected to each other under the skin. They often occur on back of the neck, shoulders and thighs.

Symptoms may include:

• The cluster of boils fills with pus
• The fluid may drain freely or may need intervention
• Fever and chills
