    Syncope is defined as fainting or sudden loss of consciousness. This is mainly caused by reduced blood supply to the brain. It is triggered by low blood pressure and emotional stress. The symptoms of syncope are giddiness, fainting episodes, weakness, fatigue, confusion, lightheadedness, headache, blurred vision, nausea, poor concentration, and confusion. The treatment consists of taking oral rehydration solution, reducing stress, practicing meditation, and increasing salt intake in the diet.
