    Angiopathy is a disease of the blood vessels. It is defined as the inflammation of the blood vessels, where the small blood vessels burst open due to the damage. It can include inflammation of the arteries, veins, or capillaries. There are 2 types such as microangiopathy(involving small blood vessels) and macroangiopathy(involving large blood vessels). One of the most common examples is diabetic angiopathy, where there is the destruction of the endothelial layer of blood vessels due to increased blood sugar levels, leading to the narrowing of the artery.
